I wanted to create a sense of mystery with this piece. I added the lantern at the very end, wanting to capture a moment of wonder and curiosity. Who left it there? To me, the bear is like a forest spirit emerging from the mist, curious to discover this foreign object in its woods. Or perhaps the lantern was calling to it. I’ll leave it to you to decide what brought them together.
