This piece was inspired by the C-Drama series Pursuit of Jade. I fell in love with China’s beautiful landscapes and wanted to recreate some of the magic of this beautiful land.
This was also the first time I included man-made structures in one of my paintings, such as the temple and bridge. Because of this, the piece holds a special place in my heart, as it challenged me in a way no other painting had at that point in my art journey.
